Was there any unusual circumstances around how you acquired your car?
Not anything too crazy, it had been sitting in some guys garage about an hour from my house. Bone stock with half a motor.
Was there more work on your car than you anticipated? Did you find a bucket of wiring worms, find some secret hidden problems…..
Other than the aftermarket headlights being horrendously wired in and catching on fire it was bone stock when I got it so it was the perfect starting platform with little to no issues.
Are there any unique mods on your car? Hyper-rare parts, custom made parts…
Nothing rare or too fancy but the wheels are 1 off, custom built GMRs specifically for an e36.
Would you consider your car done in its current form? Or do you have a list of “to dos” still left?
I don’t think it’ll ever be “done” but I am very happy with how it sits. Possibly some new wheels in the future as well as random exterior cosmetic fixes.
If you had to do it again, would you build the same car?
Absolutely, e36 is best car and you can’t change my mind.
