Was there more work on your car than you anticipated? Did you find a bucket of wiring worms, find some secret hidden problems…..
Of course, ever since I bought the car in December of 2020 it has really been nothing but issues. Whether it’s from drivetrain component completely blowing up, or finding wires that aren’t supposed to be spliced together. Since I’ve purchased the car I’m about 22k in just maintenance.

Are there any unique mods on your car? Hyper-rare parts, custom made parts…
I’ve got my custom made splitter made by someone here locally in Utah, and then my custom built headlights built by me and my business. As well as my custom hood vents that I’ve rarely seen on any evos at all.

Modified Mitsubishi Evo GSR

Would you consider your car done in its current form? Or do you have a list of “to dos” still left?
A car is never really “done”, there’s always something more to change on it whether it’s that you don’t like it, or you found something better suited for your overall vision of the build. My dream evo has always been something that is crazy fast and widebody. I plan to go carbon fenders, StreetFighter rear widebody, and got some plans to get some real wheels. Motor wise I’ve got the parts to throw on my big turbo and make some good power. End goal for the car would be right around 700 whp.

What is the biggest problem you ran into on your build?
I’d say the biggest problem I’ve ran into would be that it’s hard to make an evo 1/1 just because so many people are building them and wanting to do the same things that I’ve planned on doing.

If you had to do it again, would you build the same car?
I would definitely buy and build another evo, but I would look around a little more and find something with better maintenance records and lower miles to avoid the issues I’ve had.

Are you apart of a club or crew with your car?
Yes I am, it’s nice being able to bounce ideas off of my friends to be able to try and build the perfect car and get someone’s input on it. And I’ve got people in my car club who are always willing to help me with installing the new parts for the build.

Mitsubishi Evo GSR On Air Suspension

Is there any part/mod on your car you had to do a few times, or installed and then removed?
I would say the only mod I’ve had to mess with a couple times would be my bags. I be just had terrible luck with them whether it’s getting a hole in an airline, or popping one of my bags.

Mitsubishi Evo GSR Front Lip

What is your favorite part on your car?
My favorite part would definitely have to be my whole front end. From how low it sits, my custom vents, and my custom headlights.

What’s the best memory you had in your car?
Best memory would have to be when I took it to my first car show with guys from my car club and I took home my first award
