Are there any unique mods on your car? Hyper-rare parts, custom made parts…
Fully built 1.8 LS vtec with a short geared YS1 transmission with LSD tuned on a 50mm turbo, 15 psi making 320 whp with e85 on a mustang dyno.
Would you consider your car done in its current form? Or do you have a list of “to dos” still left?
Still looking to up the boost, my goal is 400whp, eventually I’d love to go AWD and push it to 600whp on a sleeved block.
What is the biggest problem you ran into on your build?
Fuel issues, having to run my own fuel feed lines and upgrading the stock fuel power harness.
If you had to do it again, would you build the same car?
Yes I would build the same car, I don’t think I’d do anything differently, maybe take the extra time to get the block sleeved but that’s not a issue for me right now.
Are you apart of a club or crew with your car?
Just friends with the same goals and same taste in cars, everyone’s always competitive on who’s the better driver or who has the faster car lol.
Is there any part/mod on your car you had to do a few times, or installed and then removed?
Fuel pump, unfortunately on this chassis I have to drop the whole tank to get to the pump. Upgraded from stock to 255 then to 450 and then had to run my own fuel line after the 450 was installed so I’ve dropped the fuel tank a good amount of times already.
What is your favorite part on your car?
The turbo lol.
What’s the best memory you had in your car?
Cruising with all my friends, Building the block, And probably the day I got it back from paint.
